Celebrate life…
I m grateful for today and all the good tidings and what life has offered me so far. Really appreciate all the opportunities, really good ones that come and go. At the end of the day, I am happier than ever.. each passing day and the good feeling is growing and I am glad that I am feeling this way. Life is beautiful！

20years of service at Citibank…
Before I know it, 20yrs just fly by. Come to think of it. Wow!! How did I do it?!
Mixed bag of feelings.. I can’t say I m proud that I have been in the same organisation for the past 20yrs old. Some might question my motivation to challenge myself with new endeavours in new organisations, while others applaud my sense of loyalty to my organisation.
At the end of the day, to me, it counts for nothing. I have only just started and will continue to soldier on until the day that I can’t do it anymore. I shall Rest In Peace then😊

My Dear, I don’t give a damn!
Someone told me that don’t write messages with too many words. It's too lengthy and no one would bother to read your stuff. True to a certain extent, but I would think that it’s limited to only work stuff. But when it comes to important messages and feelings that you want to convey to your loved ones.. write as much as you would like to get your feelings heard; this is more important than keeping it short for the convenience of that person. If you feel strongly about something and it bothers you so much that you want to pen it down, trust me it's something that matters to you. And if you are important enough to her, she will bother to read what you have written and tries to understand your feelings, bothers to emphasise and shows concerns by replying you. Getting an “ok” or “will do” kind of answer just shows how “important” you are to that person. It’s time to move on and don’t look back, especially to a person who does not give a damn. And like in the famous last scene in "Gone with the Wind", you should proudly retort back "My Dear, I dont give a damn!"

书法，写字，陶冶心情
小时候，我写的华文字糟透了。笔画乱七八糟，开始写得不错，之后，总是越写越糟。
笔握得不好，写字时，手会越写越酸。写久了，字体就开始潦草了。
我的人生也是一样。开始总是要好好地活，不要犯错，不让周边的人为我担心，受怕。
可是，我还是没能做到这点。
写字和做人的道理一样，要好好地做，就得付出心血，慢慢地经营，要坚持对的做法，写法，从头到尾一丝不苟地做下去。写错了，就从头再来。做错了事，就不要再犯同样的错误。
我必须时时刻刻提醒自己，鞭策自己。要不然，老了还学不好做人的道理，还写一手的烂字，真的是白活了呀！
一个人。白开水
一个人的滋味，像一杯无味，再普通不过的白开水。没什么沉淀，没什么污垢，没什么渣滓。再无聊不过，枯燥？乏味？倒也不是。
有可能，在被煮开的时候，也许内心是多么地被受煎熬，心情是多么地凌乱，沸腾。心绪许久不能平静下来。可是，时间久了，适应了世间和人与人之间的冷暖，慢慢地，我们也会找到一个平衡点。
所以说，一个人如果想开了的话，这意味了心灵找到了纯洁，思绪变得明镜般的透彻。有了领悟后，再也不会为了那些无聊的人或事给牵绊了。
一个人也能过得很好的。

Jurassic World
Welcome come back Jurassic franchise:) This show is awesome. I was awed when I first watch Jurassic Park and this time round, I am still as impressed by its latest sequel. And yes, I haven't watch a show alone for a long, long time and I'm glad that I did it.
I have always balked at the notion of watching a show alone but nowadays it's so hard to find someone to watch a show with me. Instead of asking around and matching schedules with my busy friends, I am going to start to do it alone more often. Watching movies have always been one of my favorite past times and recently I have missed out on quite a number of good movies that I have been wanting to watch. Sadly, I have missed out on these great cinematic experiences.
So.. I have stepped out of my usual zone today and watching a movie by myself isn't that bad after all:)

How to Make An American Quilt
Beautiful memories
Vividly remember this show even though I watched it many years ago. I am always attracted to beautiful stories celebrating love.
A few dainty old ladies getting together to sew a quilt. As they sewed, their faces beamed with happiness as they reminisced those beautiful memories so closely held to their hearts. The feeling is contagious; I can feel their joy to the extent that it ached. The thing that hits me most is that though they had constant fights and disagreements with their loved ones during the course of their lives; but at the end of the day, it's these beautiful memories that bring genuine smiles to their faces.
For me, at the end of my journey I yearn that somewhere, somehow, there is this someone, who holds fond memories and with me inside:) Rest in peace.. I will:)

The Past, The Present and The Future
If you are given a choice between:
1. Going back to the past to right a wrong or
2. Travelling into the future to see a wrong and come back to the present to right it
Which choice would you make?
In my humble opinion, it doesn’t matter. The present or the future would still be the same, no matter what we do to try to alter the events that lead to them. To take things into perspective, some years ago I watched a sci-fi program about a group of scientists travelling back to the past to kill Adolf Hitler when he was an infant, with the hope of preventing World War 2 and the atrocities he had perpetrated as the German leader. Through the turn of events, another infant was mistakenly killed. No prize for guessing what happened next; dear Aldolf grew up “to do what he was supposed to do”.
I believe that things happen for a reason; somehow the law of nature has the uncanny knack of making sure that the past, present and future stay the way they should be.
And why worry about going to the future to see what’s going to happen to you. So what if you are miserable or successful then? Either way, you would be miserable when you come back to the present to try to do something to “right the wrong” or constantly reminding yourself not to do something wrong to “jeopardize your bright future”.
We have absolute control of what we can do in the present. By envisioning what we hope to achieve in the future, we do our best now to try to steer ourselves towards our goals. Even in the event that the future does not turn out to be exactly the way we want it to be. We should have no regrets if we’d tried our best.
In the present, live life the way we want it to be. Future is something which should remain unknown to us. Something mysterious and slowly unfolding before our eyes, surprising us once in a while when something unexpected comes along. Imagine already knowing what’s going to happen and taking away all the suspense of discovering life… life would be less interesting isn’t it?
Take stock of the past. Take precautions for the future. Take control of your life now. Don’t look back into the past. Don’t fear what the future might bring. Don’t let the present slip away.. from our own hands.

Choices in life...
Imagine you are faced with 2 choices. You can either choose to be burnt alive or you can choose to jump out of the burning building. You might ask... wtf... what kind of questions are you asking? Are you nuts?
It's not funny.
Look at this picture. Sept 11 2001. This man chose the later. He made an heroic choice and did it with dignity and grace. He was caught in this photo, whereby he tucked both his hands by the side of his body and left leg bent at the knee, plunging to his death.
Title of the photo is aptly: "If he were not falling, he might very well be flying".
So next time when you find yourself stressed over choices, think again. Your choices are not that bad after all.

When you have a problem. You learn to deal with it yourself, fullstop.
Do you expect your friends to help you solve your problems? Do you think that they understand you more than you do? Do you feel that they should provide you with a listening ear? Do you expect them to show some concerns on you when you feel down? Do you expect a reply when you ask a question? Do you have expectations? Can you have expectations at all? Does anyone care?
Oh my god, I am surprised that I can ask myself these questions again and again and again.. but what for?
When will I learn to ever grapple with my own expectations?
When you have a problem. Learn to deal with it...Cos only you can solve your own problem and that it lies with you, lies in you.

返朴归真：去掉外在的装饰，恢复原来的质朴状态。
再深一层地探讨这四个字的意义。人的本质，一开始是纯洁，善良的。随着年龄的增长，接触了四周围的人，事与物后，慢慢地形成了自己思想与处事待人的一贯准则。不知不觉地，人的本质也开始变了。在金钱挂帅的社会里，人对物质的享受与期待，玷污了纯洁的心灵。价值观变了质，对亲情的看待也变淡了，没那么重要了。金钱能换来的享受与快乐，真的那么重要吗？那是一种持久不衰的快乐吗？在追求物质享受的过程中，忽略了对家人的关心与爱护，值得吗？
请放慢脚步，歇一歇，想一想。试试轻轻地聆听自己心灵深处的呼唤。尝试脱掉自己精心粉刷上的外壳，看一看自己内心“反扑归真”的状态，
想一想在你百年归老的那刹那，你最想要的，应该是什么东西。
那就是你生命里最最最重要的一件东西。换一换你前进的方向，往你该神往的目标前进吧！
